The Neurolearning Loft was founded with a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves an education that sees them, understands them, and helps them flourish. We recognized that traditional educational settings often struggle to meet the unique needs of neurodivergent learners.
Our team of passionate educators and specialists came together to create a different kind of learning environment — one where children with intellectual and developmental disabilities can thrive at their own pace, build meaningful connections, and discover their incredible potential.
Today, we continue to grow and evolve, always staying true to our mission of providing safe, nurturing, and individualized learning experiences that celebrate what makes each child unique.
The passionate educators behind The Neurolearning Loft
I am a special educator with 10 years of experience supporting neurodivergent learners in both inclusive and specialized educational settings. I began as a substitute teacher and it quickly became a calling. I pursued advanced training and earned my Master's degree in special education, building a career centered on understanding the whole child — academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.
My decision to pursue a career in Special Education was inspired by my own experience as a parent to a uniquely-abled child. As I researched and developed effective ways to communicate with him, I realized these same strategies could benefit other children as well. With a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and a Master's degree in Elementary Mathematics, I bring a depth of knowledge and firsthand experience that extends beyond a public classroom.
